Luke Voit didn't appreciate the location of a Lucas Giolito fastball in the third inning of Friday night's game.

The New York Yankees slugger hit a home run off the Chicago White Sox right-hander in the opening frame, and Giolito threw high and tight his next time up.

"I go deep on him, then the next pitch, 97, I mean I don't even know how it didn't hit me," Voit told reporters after the game. "It's a bunch of BS. It's really frustrating ... I know when it's in that area, it's not good."

Voit thought the sequence of events was suspicious and let his frustrations known during and after the game.

Giolito indicated he was not trying to hit the designated hitter, according to James Fegan of The Athletic.
