Kyler Murray to attend NFL combine
The NFL released its official list of NFL Scouting Combine participants Thursday and one two-sport star is among the attendees.
As his football/baseball decision looms, Kyler Murray has decided to attend the combine on Feb. 26. Oakland Athletics position players are set to report for spring training Feb. 15.
If an official decision regarding which sport he'll play hasn't been made at that point, Murray would have to juggle spring training and the combine, likely with the Athletics' permission.
Murray was the ninth overall selection in the 2018 MLB Draft but won the Heisman Trophy in December after a stellar season with the Oklahoma Sooners. His performance on the football field muddied his future, as the star athlete also declared for the 2019 NFL Draft.
The quarterback has largely avoided questions about his future but revealed last week he'll end the drama and pick between football and baseball "very soon."
