Getting outfitted in a Japanese kimono is a tedious process, as players taking part in the MLB All-Star tour of Japan discovered Friday.

Kansas City Royals second baseman Whit Merrifield, Cincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez, and Oakland Athletics reliever Yusmeiro Petit were among the players who got the opportunity to try on the traditional garb. The group was encouraged to use the washroom facilities before getting dressed, according to Alyson Footer of MLB.com.

"That was a long process," Suarez said. "I never did anything like that. It was really fun. Today, I'm just enjoying this moment. Being a part of this is really cool."
