Houston Astros players aren't the only ones disagreeing with umpire Joe West's fan-interference call in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series. The fan blamed for the infraction says he didn't do anything wrong.

"I didn't reach over the wall; I was on this side of the line," Troy Caldwell, an Astros fan in town from Atlanta, said, according to Matt Young and David Barron of the Houston Chronicle. "I don't understand what happened. I know the rules, and I didn't reach over the line."

West said the replay official agreed with his on-field decision.

"Here's the whole play," West said. "They hit the ball to right field, he (Betts) jumped up to try to make a catch, a fan interfered with him over the playing field. That is why I called spectator interference."

Caldwell denied committing the offense. Had the out not been called, the Astros would have tied the game 2-2 on Jose Altuve's blast.

"I think you know what I think of Joe West right about now," Caldwell added.

"I promise you I didn't do anything wrong."
