Boston Red Sox ace Chris Sale will start Game 6 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros on Saturday, if the series goes that far.

On Wednesday, Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters that Sale - who was initially slated to start Game 5 on Thursday - was still feeling weak and had lost weight from the stomach illness that hospitalized him on Sunday, according to Alex Speier of The Boston Globe.

"He's feeling better, but physically he's not there," Cora said.

Sale last pitched in Boston's Game 1 loss on Saturday, taking a no-decision after allowing two earned runs on one hit and four walks across four innings of work.

Cora said he'd name a starter for Game 5 after the conclusion of Game 4 on Wednesday.
