Athletics fan goes clubbing with Yankees fan who doused him in beer
There's been an unexpected development in the story of the Oakland Athletics fan who had beer thrown at him by a New York Yankees fan during Wednesday's wild-card game in New York.
The Athletics fan, Oakland native and New York resident John Spencer, enjoyed a night out with the beer-thrower on Thursday.

Spencer tweeted earlier Thursday that the Yankees fan had reached out to him about meeting up.
The Athletics also reached out to Spencer and promised to send him a care package.
