Rays' Gomez rips ump on Twitter after ejection
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Carlos Gomez didn't last very long in Thursday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He struck out looking in his only at-bat as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning, argued the call, and was subsequently tossed by home plate umpire Andy Fletcher.
A tantrum or on-field argument is normally the end of it, but Gomez took to Twitter - before the game even ended - to call Fletcher out for his strike zone.

Gomez is adamant that this pitch was inside and off the plate. He didn't stop with his own plate appearance, either. He posted videos of his teammates' at-bats, saying he could find at least 10 more bad calls from Fletcher.

Naturally, he also took issue with calls that went against the Rays' pitching.
If anyone needed to be ejected out of tonight's game it was Andy Fletcher!! pic.twitter.com/Nba57VVMzN

In the end, he appeared to apologize in a live video, acknowledging he made a "mistake," but continued to refer to Fletcher's work behind the plate as "brutal" because he "wasn't doing his job."
Gomez's solution is apparently to remove the risk for human error from the equation entirely.
@MLB @MLB_PLAYERS this is why we need an electronic strike zone!! This is ridiculous!

Gomez could be fined for his tweets.
