One of the hardest-throwing prospects in all of baseball has gotten his call to the show.

The Chicago White Sox announced Sunday they've promoted right-hander Michael Kopech to the big-league team.

Kopech will make his major-league debut on Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins.

The 22-year-old, who was acquired in the Chris Sale trade with the Boston Red Sox, is listed as the No. 13 prospect in all of baseball by MLB Pipeline.

He's drawn comparisons to New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard because of his high velocity (sits 96-99 mph) and strikeout rate (12.1 SO/9 in Triple-A this season).

In 24 Triple-A starts for Charlotte, Kopech is 7-7 with a 3.70 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. He's also punched out 170 hitters in 126 1/3 innings.
