Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has been suspended two games and received an undisclosed fine for "fighting and inciting a bench-clearing incident" Tuesday versus the San Francisco Giants, chief baseball officer Joe Torre announced, per Locked On Yankees' Jesse Spector.

Additionally, Giants catcher Nick Hundley has been fined an undisclosed amount for his actions in the incident.

Puig and Hundley got into a verbal exchange in the middle of Puig's at-bat during the seventh inning of Tuesday's contest. The altercation escalated with a push, and resulted in both benches clearing and Puig attempting to punch Hundley in the middle of the scrum.

There's no word yet on whether Puig plans to appeal his suspension. The Dodgers head up the West Coast for a three-game set with the Seattle Mariners beginning Friday night.

Puig is slashing .268/.327/.477 with 15 home runs and 44 RBIs in 92 games this season.
