Seattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura spoiled a pretty tight All-Star Game, cracking the Midsummer Classic wide open with a massive three-run shot in the eighth inning that put the AL up 5-2.

The light-hitting infielder unpredictably took Josh Hader deep. The Milwaukee Brewers fireman has been almost unbeatable this season, owning a 1.50 ERA over 48 innings. The 25-year-old left-hander ran into trouble in the eighth by allowing singles to Shin-Soo Choo and George Springer.

Segura was only able to hit his three-run home run after his foul pop-up earlier in the at-bat was dropped by Joey Votto in front of the dugout.
