Ramirez, Story earn final Player of the Week honors of 1st half

Cleveland Indians infielder Jose Ramirez and Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story have been named the Players of the Week for their respective leagues.

Ramirez, who is heading to his second straight All-Star Game on Tuesday, hit .423 with five home runs and eight runs scored, padding his already-stellar first-half stats.

Story had an incredible week for the surging Rockies, clubbing a walk-off home run against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. He hit .400 with three home runs and three doubles alongside a 1.303 OPS.

The 25-year-old will make his first All-Star appearance on Tuesday in Washington after hitting .292/.353/.557 with 20 home runs and 68 RBIs during the first half.
