The Washington Nationals might be looking to make some additions as they head into the All-Star break.

General manager Mike Rizzo and his staff could revisit their pursuit of Miami Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto, league sources told Fancred's Jon Heyman.

Washington has been looking to upgrade their catching situation and appeared to shift its focus to Tampa Bay Rays catcher Wilson Ramos last week.

The Nationals have been linked to Realmuto since the season began, but have balked at the Marlins' asking price for the 27-year-old.

They may be inclined to include outfield prospect Victor Robles in a trade for Realmuto, according to Heyman. Washington wasn't willing to include him in a deal during past discussions.

With star outfielder Bryce Harper on the cusp of free agency, the Nationals could look to make a final push for the World Series, despite sitting third in the National League East at .500.

Realmuto is set to appear in his first All-Star Game on Tuesday at Nationals Park after putting together the best campaign of his career, slashing .310/.365/.536 with 12 home runs, 20 doubles, and 45 RBIs in 69 games.
