The Milwaukee Brewers clobbered the Philadelphia Phillies to the tune of a 13-2 victory Friday night. First baseman Jesus Aguilar put the cherry on top in the eighth.

With the game out of reach and four pitchers used, the Phillies turned to infielder Jesmuel Valentin to stop the bleeding and pitch the eighth inning. With a man on, however, he served up a big home run for Aguilar's 12th long ball of the season.

Valentin, in his pitching debut, allowed another run before finally finishing the inning. All told, he allowed three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out one.
