The Houston Astros used the last rounds of the 2018 MLB Draft to add some familiar names.

In the 33rd round, the club selected J.C. Correa, the younger brother of shortstop Carlos Correa. In the 35th round, Houston picked A.J. Bregman, the younger brother of third baseman Alex Bregman.

A.J., a left-handed pitcher who's committed to playing at New Mexico, happened to be at Minute Maid Park, and Alex was the one who broke the news to him.

"It was amazing. It's surreal. I'm so excited that happened," A.J. said, according to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. "I'm pretty shocked, I had no idea. I have a decision to make now."

Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow informed Correa on the field prior to Wednesday's game, with the former Rookie of the Year immediately running off to contact his family.

"Super happy and proud of all the work he's put in," Carlos said. "I just called him and he told me he was crying when he found out. My dad was crying. My family is very happy."

Carlos was the first overall pick of the 2012 MLB Draft, while Alex went second overall in the 2015 draft after initially being picked in the 29th round in 2012.
