The Los Angeles Dodgers don't look like the same team that won 104 games and appeared in the World Series last season, but general manager Farhan Zaidi remains confident in the club and its manager, Dave Roberts.

Zaidi said that despite L.A.'s 16-26 start, which currently has them occupying last place in the National League West, the front office isn't prepared to make a coaching change.

"We, again, have all the confidence in him in the world," the GM told Mornings With Keyshawn, Jorge and LZ on ESPN Los Angeles. "We said that during spring training when people asked about it. (We) haven't seen anything in this first quarter of the season that has done anything to our confidence level with him."

Zaidi's remarks followed the Dodgers' sixth straight loss on Wednesday and are similar to what president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said earlier this week.

L.A.'s six consecutive defeats had come at the hands of the lowly Miami Marlins and Cincinnati Reds, both of whom sat last in their respective divisions.

The Dodgers ended their losing streak on Thursday with a 7-0 win over Miami.
