The New York Yankees were happy with just about every result they received on the field Sunday during their 5-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays, with the exception of one decision from the video replay center.
During the eighth inning, it appeared Tyler Austin picked up an infield single after a throw from Lourdes Gurriel Jr. pulled first baseman Justin Smoak off the bag. First base umpire Ted Barrett called Austin out on the play, prompting the Yankees to review it.
Following a lengthy review, the umpires were told that the call on the field stands.
