Two-time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum held a showcase in Seattle on Thursday in an attempt to break back into the majors after one year away, and at least half of the league was in attendance, according to a report from Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.

At least 15 teams - with the number likely closer to 20 - sent a group of 25-30 scouts in total, according to Heyman, but it's not confirmed which specific clubs attended. However, leading up to the showcase, the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, and Texas Rangers were rumored to be planning on attending.

During the showcase, Lincecum is said to have thrown between 90-93 mph, per Heyman's sources. During his Cy Young seasons, the right-hander averaged between 92-95 mph with his fastball but dipped in recent years to just above 88 mph on average.

Lincecum, 33, didn't pitch last year after making nine starts for the Angels in 2016. Over 38 1/3 innings with the Halos, Lincecum posted a 9.16 ERA and 7.16 FIP.

After breaking into the league in 2007 as a 23-year-old, Lincecum managed a 69-41 record over his first five seasons with a 2.98 ERA and 2.93 FIP. Since then, however, 'The Freak' has posted a 4.94 ERA with a 41-48 record.
