The Cincinnati Reds won their arbitration case against Eugenio Suarez and will pay the infielder $3.75 million in 2018, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.

Suarez had requested $4.2 million in what was his first year of arbitration eligibility.

The 26-year-old hit .260/.367/.461 with a career-high 26 home runs, 25 doubles, and 82 RBIs in 156 games for the Reds last season. He has two more years of arbitration remaining.

Cincinnati still has one more arbitration case left with Scooter Gennett.
