The San Francisco Giants pulled off a blockbuster trade Monday, acquiring Andrew McCutchen from the Pittsburgh Pirates, making him the second franchise face they've nabbed this offseason, in addition to former Tampa Bay Rays superstar Evan Longoria.

It appears, however, that the Giants aren't done making moves yet.

Even with McCutchen in the mix, the Giants are on the hunt for a center fielder, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, whose sources say the Giants rank the non-Lorenzo Cain free-agent options, in order, as Jarrod Dyson, Jon Jay, and Cameron Maybin.

The profiles of those three players are similar to the Cincinnati Reds' Billy Hamilton, who the Giants have been linked to during the offseason, but Crasnick adds San Francisco's farm system may have taken too big of a hit to acquire him.

2017 stats

PLAYER G PA HR RBI SB OPS
Jarrod Dyson 111 390 5 30 28 .674
Jon Jay 141 433 2 34 6 .749
Cameron Maybin 114 450 10 35 33 .683
Billy Hamilton 139 633 4 38 59 .634

McCutchen isn't being ruled out for center field, according to Crasnick, but his poor defensive metrics (minus-65 in defensive runs saved since 2014) appear to be a concern.

Career defense in CF

PLAYER G INN DRS UZR
Jarrod Dyson 489 3662 55 52.1
Jon Jay 648 5140 -9 5.1
Cameron Maybin 810 6628.2 -4 3.2
Billy Hamilton 513 4337.2 47 56.2
Andrew McCutchen 1314 11505.2 -70 -51.9

Of the aforementioned free agents, the Giants have expressed interest in Dyson, but the 33-year-old speedster is speaking with multiple clubs.
