The Los Angeles Angels' busy offseason continued Friday, as the team announced a three-year deal with All-Star infielder Zack Cozart.

Cozart's deal is worth $38 million, according to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.

The 32-year-old Cozart, who played 112 games at shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds last season, will play third base for the Angels, Rosenthal adds.

Cozart's acquisition comes after Angels GM Billy Eppler signed outfielder Justin Upton to a new contract, acquired international two-way sensation Shohei Ohtani, and traded for second baseman Ian Kinsler.

Projected lineup

ORDER PLAYER POS
1 Ian Kinsler 2B
2 Mike Trout CF
3 Justin Upton LF
4 Albert Pujols DH
5 Kole Calhoun RF
6 Zack Cozart 3B
7 Andrelton Simmons SS
8 Luis Valbuena 1B
9 Martin Maldonado C

By adding the defensively gifted Cozart to play alongside shortstop Andrelton Simmons, Los Angeles could have one of the best left sides of any infield in baseball.

The Angels' lineup also now includes four players - Cozart (5.0), Upton (5.0), Simmons (4.9), and Mike Trout (6.9) - who ranked among the top 20 in Fangraphs WAR last season.
