The archer looks to be on his way to the North Star State.

Right-hander Fernando Rodney has agreed with the Minnesota Twins on a one-year deal worth up to $6 million, according to Craig Mish of Sirius XM Radio.

Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports adds the deal is worth $4.5 million next season plus an option. His base salary will be $4.25 million in 2018 with a chance to reach $6 million through incentives. His 2019 option is worth $4.25 million with a $250,000 buyout.

Minnesota's bullpen was without an established closer after it traded Brandon Kintzler to the Washington Nationals last season, so perhaps Rodney will take over in the role.
