The Washington Nationals will bring back a familiar face to their bullpen, agreeing to a two-year deal with right-handed reliever Brandon Kintzler, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

Kintzler's deal is worth $10 million in guaranteed money, and includes both player and club options, according to sources of the Washington Post's Chelsea Janes.

There was interest in a reunion after Kintzler posted a 3.46 ERA with Washington following his midseason acquisition from the Minnesota Twins. Kintzler joins a handful of relievers that signed on Day 3 of the winter meetings, including Anthony Swarzak (New York Mets), Jake McGee (Colorado Rockies), and Juan Nicasio (Seattle Mariners).

Kintzler is expected to slot in behind closer Sean Doolittle and veteran right-hander Ryan Madson. He made $2.9 million last season.
