The Milwaukee Brewers are drawing significant interest on Domingo Santana as well as other outfielders, according to a report from Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.

The 25-year-old Santana is cited as one alternative for the San Francisco Giants, according to Rosenthal, who just confirmed they would no longer be pursuing Giancarlo Stanton after the Miami Marlins slugger refused to waive his no-trade clause.

Santana is coming off of a breakout 2017 campaign in which he posted a .278/.371/.505 slash line with 30 home runs and 15 stolen bases through 144 games in right field.

However, the Brewers are likely not especially motivated to move Santana, who is under team control for the next four seasons and entering his final year before arbitration. The club finished one win shy of making the National League wild-card game last year during a season in which it was supposed to be in a rebuild cycle.

Milwaukee does have a wealth of talent in its outfield, though. Alongside Santana, Ryan Braun and Keon Broxton are likely fixtures in right field and center field respectively, while budding stars Brett Phillips and Lewis Brinson jockey for additional time.

It's worth noting Braun has factored into the rumor mill substantially over the past couple seasons, and was reportedly involved in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers for Yasiel Puig which didn't come to fruition.
