Watch: Schwarber upstages Puig with HR, epic bat drop

Through the first two games of the National League Championship Series, Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig was the consummate showman, licking his bat and wagging his tongue - and tormenting pitchers - with reckless abandon as his team cruised to a 2-0 series lead.

So, when the series shifted back to Wrigley Field on Tuesday night, Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber wasted no time upstaging his rambunctious foe - hard.

In the bottom of the first inning of Game 3, not long after Puig demonstratively admired a long foul ball he yanked down the left-field line, Schwarber gave the Cubs an early lead with an opposite-field solo shot off Yu Darvish that he followed with a savage bat drop. It was downright violent in its subtlety.

Your move, Yasiel.
