Astros' Morton dispels Wikipedia myth linking him to acclaimed steak house

Before taking the mound Monday at Yankee Stadium for Game 3 of the American League Championship Series, Houston Astros right-hander Charlie Morton had to clarify one thing.

The misinformation on his Wikipedia page notwithstanding, Morton assured reporters Monday that his family is not, in fact, affiliated with Morton's, the acclaimed chain of steak houses with more than 78 locations worldwide.

After dispelling the myth, Morton added he has an inkling as to who planted the mistruth on his Wikipedia page - though he opted not to divulge the suspect's name, offering the assembled media only a series of identifying facts.

"I feel like I might know who the culprit is, but I don't want to say so," Morton said, according to Cut4's Chris Landers. "There's a former Pirate that loved to get on Wikipedia, a former right-handed relief pitcher who threw a lot of sinkers, and he's really tall. I'm not saying that's him, either, because I don't have the facts."
