The Los Angeles Dodgers are on their way to the World Series for the first time since 1988, which means the man dubbed as "Red October," Justin Turner and one of the season's biggest surprises Chris Taylor will continue to grace baseball with their presence.

But, before they do that, the pair shared the National League Championship Series MVP award, which was announced after the Dodgers defeated the Chicago Cubs to advance to the World Series on Thursday.

Turner, the popular red-headed third baseman of the Dodgers, posted a remarkable 1.145 OPS during the series, hitting a game-winning home run in Game 2 while also driving in 12 runs.

The 27-year-old Taylor had a breakout campaign for the Dodgers in the regular season, playing a career-high 140 games, hitting 21 home runs, and driving in 72. He continued his fine work in the NLCS, hitting .316 with an OPS of 1.247.
