Watch: Blue Jays' Anderson bites and rips his hat apart in rage

Dan Hamilton / USA TODAY Sports

"I'll make it through two innings tonight or I'll eat my hat," Brett Anderson, probably.

After the Toronto Blue Jays southpaw was chased from Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals with one out in the second inning, Anderson took a bite out of his hat before tearing it apart in the dugout.

Anderson allowed eight earned runs on seven hits through 1 1/3 innings. It's his worst start as a member of the Blue Jays, but he actually recorded only a single out in his final start with the Chicago Cubs back in May.
