Camden Yards has not been kind to Dustin Pedroia this season.

The Boston Red Sox second baseman was forced to leave Monday's game against the Baltimore Orioles in the fourth inning after a foul ball off his bat hit the ground and bounced up into his face.

Pedroia appeared to be in considerable pain and was bleeding. He was able to walk off the field without assistance, and was replaced by Brock Holt.

Pedroia would later be diagnosed with a nasal contusion and is considered day to day.

The injury marked the second time this season Pedroia has been hurt at Camden Yards. He was forced to leave a game back in April after he was spiked at second base on a slide from Orioles third baseman Manny Machado.
