Watch: Little leaguers from every team combine to throw 1st pitch

Held in Williamsport, Pa., Sunday's MLB Little League Classic between the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates was a way to shine a spotlight on the Little League World Series and the 16 teams involved.

Taking it one step further, the ceremonial first pitch was delivered all the way from the outfield from a representative of each of the 16 teams participating in the youth tournament.

That long chain was finished off with a perfect strike to preserve the 16-throw streak without the ball hitting the ground.
