Case in point: Center fielder Michael A. Taylor tracked down a deep fly ball from San Diego Padres third baseman Yangervis Solarte on Friday - one that looked like a sure home run until the last possible moment. Taylor timed his jump, hauled in the catch, and helped maintain Washington's early 2-0 lead.
