The Los Angeles Angels were no Mach(ado) for Manny on Friday.
Manny Machado, the Baltimore Orioles' decorated third baseman, recorded the second three-homer game of his career in their series opener at Camden Yards, spanking a two-run homer in the third inning and a solo shot in the fifth before launching a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth to propel Baltimore to a wild 9-7 victory.
Machado, who also thrice went deep last Aug. 7 in a 10-2 win over the Chicago White Sox, is now just the third player in MLB history to cap a three-homer performance with a walk-off grand slam, according to ESPN Stats & Info, joining Joey Votto (2012) and Khris Davis (2016).
