In the top of the fifth inning Tuesday at Target Field, the Minnesota Twins' hulking third baseman made one of the finest defensive plays of 2017, ranging to his right to haul in a hot smash off the bat of Austin Jackson and nailing the veteran speedster at first base with a sensational spinning throw from foul territory.
