Watch: Rangers' Robinson robs Hicks with incredible diving catch

They call him "Stretch" Robinson.

While neither the Texas Rangers nor the Detroit Tigers are in the midst of their most encouraging seasons, that doesn't mean they're done putting their bodies on the line.

Case in point: Rangers outfielder Drew Robinson absolutely stole a sure hit off the bat of Tigers first baseman John Hicks with an improbable diving catch to end the top of the first inning.

It's a good thing, too, as the Tigers had already scored a pair off starter Martin Perez to kick off the game. The Rangers retaliated for two of their own in the bottom half before taking the lead in the second.
