Camargo seemed to stop just before reaching the first-base line and hyperextended his right knee. After a slight delay as the 23-year-old stayed down, Braves training staff helped Camargo off the field at SunTrust Park and Jace Peterson took over shortstop duties against the Philadelphia Phillies.
In 63 games with the Braves this season, Camargo has been a surprisingly bright spot. Over 197 plate appearances, he's posting a slash line of .292/.327/.454.
