New York Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes broke out of his slump in atypical fashion Tuesday night at Petco Park, doinking a checked-swing triple into the right-field corner and getting himself a Little League home run on a Wil Myers throwing error that allowed him to scamper home from third.

Of course, what with Cespedes playing for the Mets and all, he was removed from the game shortly thereafter, citing "fatigue" in his right quadriceps.

"I felt it really after I touched second base," Cespedes told Mike Puma of the New York Post. "I'm not too worried, though. I don't think it’s going to be an impediment for playing (Wednesday)."
