Watch: Arenado throws out runner while lying on his back
Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports
In his five-year career, Nolan Arenado has already been the recipient of four National League Gold Glove awards.
Plays like these offer up a good reason why.
The talented Colorado Rockies third baseman flashed the leather on Wednesday, diving for a ball and making the throw by turning around and firing it off from his back.
The most impressive part of it all was that the throw managed to get to first baseman Mark Reynolds on a line, absolutely robbing San Francisco Giants pitcher Ty Blach of a hit.
