Poll: Did Cubs make the right call by parting ways with Montero?

The Chicago Cubs acted quickly on Wednesday, designating catcher Miguel Montero for assignment less than 24 hours after he openly criticized Jake Arrieta for being slow to the plate, leading to seven stolen bases courtesy of the Washington Nationals.
This isn't the first time Montero decided to speak his mind as a member of the Cubs. After the organization broke a 108-year World Series drought, the veteran expressed frustration over his lack of playing time during the run, admitting in November that he felt "left out."
Nevertheless, with the 33-year-old no longer part of the team's plans, it begs the question: Were the Cubs too quick to act or did the punishment fit the crime.
It's your call.
