Less than 24 hours after leaving his club's epic comeback at Progressive Field early due to an unspecified illness, Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona is already cracking wise.

In a statement released ahead of Tuesday's game, the Indians said doctors ruled out any major health issues following a series of tests on the affable 58-year-old, but made sure to note that Francona "also wanted to express that medical personnel have not yet ruled out an allergy to bench coach Brad Mills."

Mills, who filled in for Francona following his early exit from Monday's 15-9 win over the Texas Rangers, will also manage Tuesday.

"There's no doubt, I'm always concerned any time that happens," Mills told MLB.com's Jordan Bastian following Monday's win. "It's a genuine concern for, not me, but the whole staff and the team as well. There's definitely a concern. I'm glad the doctors checked him out and we'll move down the road."

Francona, who was previously hospitalized June 13 following a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, will continue to be monitored over the next few weeks. He is expected to rejoin the club Wednesday.
