Hosmer takes over top 1B spot in AL All-Star voting

Eric Hosmer was the biggest mover in the fourth update for American League All-Star balloting, released Tuesday.
The Kansas City Royals first baseman leaped over both Miguel Cabrera and Yonder Alonso for top spot at the position, receiving 309,951 votes since the last update. Hosmer was an All-Star for the first time last season.
New York Yankees star rookie Aaron Judge continues to lead all AL players with 2,631,284 votes, while Mike Trout remains second among outfielders despite having been sidelined since late May with a thumb injury.
The fifth voting update will be announced July 26.
