Watch: Ballpark proposal ends in rejection at minor-league game

A ballpark proposal went terribly wrong for a fan at Monday night's game between the Columbia Fireflies, the Class-A affiliate of the New York Mets, and Charleston.

Not only was his proposal rejected, the woman grabbed her purse and left him there on his knee as everyone around them looked on.

According to one Twitter user who was there (though the account has since been switched to private), the fan stuck around for 45 minutes after the game drinking by himself.
