Watch: Braves fan loses race, pride to man called 'Freeze'

He really thought he'd win.
With a monster head start between innings during Friday's New York Mets-Atlanta Braves game, one Braves fan felt the wind in his sails in a race against "Freeze." It didn't last.
As his confidence grew, and the finish line inched ever closer, the short-distance runner's smile broadened. It didn't fully disappear as he was eclipsed by the mysterious "Freeze" or even when he stumbled, and fell into the warning track dirt.
He never really stood a chance.
