Orioles' Ubaldo Jimenez: Moved to bullpen

Jimenez will pitch out of the bullpen for the time being, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Analysis:

Alec Asher will get the starting nod Sunday in place of Jimenez, who has struggled to the tune of a 7.17 ERA and 1.71 WHIP in 42.2 innings so far this season. Jimenez did rebound after a demotion to the bullpen last season, posting a 3.12 ERA over his final eight starts, and the club is holding out hope that Jimenez will follow a similar path this year. The 33-year-old is in the final year of his contract with Baltimore.
