Maddon says he has a 'defensive foot fetish'

The Chicago Cubs might have to change their approach to scouting as long as Theo Epstein and Joe Maddon are in town.
Good character, good feet.
The wildly expressive and honest manager had an interesting response, to say the least, in regards to his players' approach to defense after Tuesday's 4-1 win against the San Francisco Giants.
"I'm into feet, man. I just like good feet. I don't have a foot fetish, other than defense. I have a defensive foot fetish," Maddon said, according to Carrie Muskat of MLB.com.
From watching random people and following them home to breaking the 108-year Cubs' World Series drought, to this latest obsession with good defensive feet, Epstein and Maddon are quite the duo.
