Watch: D-Backs' Hoover wins charity cow-milking challenge

Joe Camporeale / USA TODAY Sports

J.J. Hoover, who looks like he knows his way around some udders, won an Arizona Diamondbacks fundraiser and team-building exercise in which three players were tasked with a "who could milk a cow the most" challenge.

Hoover was actually the underdog of the challenge according to a poll the Diamondbacks' twitter ran moments before it got underway. The favorite, according to the team's fans, was fellow reliever, Archie Bradley.

The other competitor, also a reliever, was Andrew Chafin, but anybody that knows anything about dairy farming knows that chafin' is just bad form. Kind of fitting that three members of a bullpen be involved in a cow-related challenge.

All for a good cause, the Diamondbacks teamed up with Shamrock Farms, with all proceeds going toward a milk drive for St. Mary's Food Bank.
