David 'Grandpa' Ross awarded perfect score in DWTS finale
David Ross is hoping to fly the W - this time on the dance floor.
The former Chicago Cubs catcher and 2016 World Series champion, who danced in Monday's finale of "Dancing with the Stars," certainly performed well enough to give himself a chance of securing the mirrorball trophy.
Ross and dance partner Lindsay Arnold - nicknamed "Lady and the Gramp" - danced twice on the evening, beginning with a waltz and ending the evening the best way Ross knows how: performing to "Take me Out to the Ballgame."
The performance earned the praise of the judge's, who awarded the duo with a perfect score. It also seemed to impress actor and musician Jamie Foxx, who sung Ross' praise.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday. The other pairs vying for the mirror ball trophy are NFL running back Rashad Jennings and partner Emma Slater, as well as singer Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy.
