Watch: Cubs' Schwarber goes from hero to goat in left field

Watch the play above, and all your reservations bout Kyle Schwarber's ability to play the outfield disappear, right? The ball off the bat of Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Keon Broxton, after all, had a catch probability of just 26 percent, according to Statcast, giving Schwarber - the Chicago Cubs' burly catcher-turned-left-fielder - his first four-star catch of 2017.

Alas, three innings later in Friday's matinee at Wrigley Field, Schwarber vindicated all those who insist he's unfit to play the outfield, bungling an admittedly wind-strewn, but still very catchable, fly ball into an adventure that ended poorly for the Cubs.
