50/50 draw at Rays game yields pathetic prize

Add one more to the long list of jokes at the expense of the Tampa Bay Rays' attendance numbers and Tropicana Field in general.

One "lucky" fan went home doubly disappointed Thursday night. First, the Rays lost 5-2 to the Toronto Blue Jays, and second, the 50/50 draw prize was a laughable $121.

The reported attendance was 12,678, according to Blue Jays statistician Scott Carson, but few and far between elected to take a shot at the prize.
