Tigers' Tyler Collins: Could play some right field
Collins is a candidate to make some starts in right field to begin the season, Anthony French of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Analysis:
Collins was expected to platoon with Mikie Mahtook in center field, but with J.D. Martinez out for 3-4 weeks, the Tigers could look for both Collins and Mahtook to play some in right. Collins doesn't offer a ton with the bat or on the bases, but he might play enough to at least warrant a look in deeper or AL-only leagues.
