Dodgers' Adam Liberatore: Fires scoreless inning Friday
Liberatore held the Diamondbacks scoreless while striking out two batters in his lone inning of work Friday.
Analysis:
The 29-year-old is looking to make the Dodgers' Opening Day bullpen after posting a 3.38 ERA in 42.2 innings last season. His 4.76 ERA doesn't look pretty this spring, but Liberatore's 6:2 K:BB is a decent mark over 5.2 innings. The club will likely keep one of either him or Luis Avilan around to serve as the team's left-handed specialist in the middle innings.
