Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Will be held out for one week
Manager Dave Roberts said Kazmir (hip) won't pitch in a game until next week, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis:
The Dodgers are expected to be overcautious with Kazmir, who has been bothered by tightness in his hip before. He threw a bullpen session Wednesday, and he'll use the time off from games to work on his mechanics, which may have been causing the issues. The 33-year-old will continue to increase his workload before he fully returns to Cactus League action, which could end up being longer than the week Roberts initially set as a timeframe.
